We give you some details:
The ship has 64 cabins for a total of 128 passengers and 35 cabins for 55 people of the crew.
The style of S.S. Joie de Vivre is inspired by the 30’s – 60’s of Paris where Jean Pages Artist and Madelaine Castaing (1894-1992), as theme, play an important role. Madelaine was a French antique dealer and decorator. Famous images of Jean Pages will enrich the walls of the restaurant.
The S.S. Joie de Vivre has 1 restaurant Pigalle, 1 bistro Saint-Germain, 1 café Flore, 1 pool- bar l’Esprit, a massage room, heated pool with jet stream, a gym and a cinema.
The pool has a moveable floor that goes up in the evening to serve as a dance floor in the nightclub Claude’s.
They created a special space, La Cave de vins, to entertain the guests with cooking clinics.
All cabins have handmade English beds and bathrooms equipped with real marble. The elevator is surrounded by a waterfall. Special mention is the finish of American walnut gloss on all sides, which gives a luxurious appearance.
In late February S.S. Joie de Vivre is transported on a dockship to Le Havre. 26th of March the inauguration took place in Paris by Joan Collins. After which S.S. Joie de Vivre will cruise in France, among other things on the Seine back and forth from Paris.
