We extend a ship for Auf zu Neuen Ufern GmbH. “das Kulturschiff” will be moored on the banks of the Neckar near the city of Stuttgart. It will serve as a daytime restaurant, event location or club. Enjoy culinary delights during the day and end the evening with a concert. The plans have been in place for some time to shape this project and add value to Stuttgart’s gastronomy. Rainer Guist, director, awarded us the contract.
First of all, a section seam is made, the ship is separated. Then the hull section is towed in between. Head and butt pushed together again and everything welded together. And so the ship becomes 8,160 meters longer.
The first steps have been taken!
